George AFB, California: Four Military Witnesses Observe Five 100-Foot Discs in Formation
On May 1, 1952, at George AFB, California, three men on the firing range plus an officer observed five matte-white discs, each about 100 feet in diameter, in a 3+2 formation executing a 90-degree turn.
Background
On the same morning as the Davis-Monthan incident, at 10:50 a.m. on May 1, 1952, at George Air Force Base, California, three men on the firing range, plus an officer four miles away, observed five matte-white discs, all about 100 feet in diameter. The unknowns flew rapidly overhead in a formation of three followed by two. The saucers executed a 90-degree turn then darted about for perhaps half a minute before departing. USAF Project Blue Book listed the incident as unidentifiable.
