Chelyabinsk Triangle Landing: Physical Traces Found in Urals Field
In the eastern Urals, northwest of Chelyabinsk, a local militia captain and patrolman are driving at 9 PM in late September or early October 1984 when they notice odd-colored lights about 25 meters away in a field. They observe a large triangle outlined by multi-colored, sequentially flashing lights, either resting on the ground or hovering just above it. The captain later sketches the object with 11 lights on the left and right sides, and another 13 going up the center. After stopping to stare, the object simply becomes dark and invisible. The next day, the captain returns and finds three round depressions in the soil, about 10 inches deep and 36 inches in diameter, positioned at the corners of an equilateral triangle with sides of about 25 feet.
