NARCAP Founded

In 2001, retired NASA senior research scientist Dr. Richard Haines and executive director Ted Roe established the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP), a respected international nonprofit research organization dedicated to understanding unidentified aerial phenomena.

Organization and Purpose

NARCAP serves as a confidential reporting center for pilots, crew, and air traffic controllers to report UAP encounters without fear of professional repercussions. The organization collects and analyzes high-quality data to understand unidentified aerial phenomena that may pose threats to aviation safety.
