Pitcairn, PA: Light shines on witness, two hours lost
A returning worker observed a luminous aerial object displaying green and red illumination. The craft projected a beam toward him, causing apparent unconsciousness. Upon awakening, he discovered approximately two hours had elapsed without memory.
Background
On the early morning of June 26, 2005, a solitary witness reported an unusual aerial encounter near Pitcairn, Pennsylvania. While commuting homeward after completing his work shift, the individual noticed an illuminated craft hovering overhead. The object exhibited alternating green and red illumination. According to the testimony, the craft projected a downward beam that struck the observer directly. Immediately following this illumination, the witness experienced what appeared to be a loss of consciousness or blackout state.
Upon returning to awareness, the individual discovered that approximately 120 minutes had elapsed without any recollection of the intervening period. The incident occurred under clear atmospheric conditions with excellent visibility extending to ten miles. Geographic coordinates place the location roughly fifteen miles east-southeast of Pittsburgh.
An investigator noted the proximity to a separate sighting report from McKeesport, occurring thirty minutes earlier on the same date merely seven miles away. Despite attempts to obtain additional details through electronic correspondence, the witness remained unresponsive to follow-up inquiries. This lack of engagement, combined with similar non-responsiveness from the McKeesport witness, led the investigator to speculate about potential fabrication.
