Lee's Summit, MO: Blue lights cause missing time episode

On August 30, 2010, a woman in Lee's Summit, Missouri, reported an unusual aerial phenomenon occurring in two separate instances during the early morning and late evening hours. Initially, at approximately 3:00 AM, the witness noticed her dog displaying agitated behavior near a bedroom window. Upon taking the animal outside, she observed a large blue light that initially resembled an aircraft but subsequently revealed itself as part of a triangular formation of three lights approaching her property. Frightened by the proximity of these objects, she returned indoors with her pet.

Later that evening, at 10:55 PM, the witness again went outside with her dog, who exhibited similar restless conduct. She noticed two blue lights positioned slightly offset from the previous location. While attempting to identify these lights, she suddenly found herself looking at the ground with her cigarette vanished and no memory of the intervening period. Her dog appeared visibly disturbed, growling toward the direction where the lights had been, though they had already disappeared. Upon checking the time, she discovered approximately one hour had elapsed unaccounted for.

The encounter included additional anomalous elements. Several months prior, the witness's brother had reported observing an unusual light outside his window, though his claims were initially dismissed. Immediately following the evening sighting, the witness reported her television spontaneously activated, displaying a blank red screen while emitting sounds resembling unfamiliar speech.
