Background

During 2014, a series of unusual livestock deaths troubled agricultural communities in northern Santa Fe province, Argentina. Local broadcaster Radio Amanecer documented incidents where cattle owners encountered animals in severe physiological distress shortly before their deaths.

Witnesses reported finding cattle trembling and experiencing nervous distress on a Friday, with the same animals discovered dead by the following Monday exhibiting characteristic mutilation injuries. These wounds displayed surgical precision and specific tissue removal consistent with patterns reported throughout the region during preceding months.

Two primary locations were identified: Villa Adela within the Villa Ocampo district at Osvaldo Marega's farm, and a property at kilometer 20 in the Tartagal jurisdiction belonging to the Miranda family. Both sites revealed comparable injury patterns, suggesting either a connected phenomenon or identical causative factors.

UFO researcher Andrea Pérez Simondini documented these cases after receiving information from Marcelo Fasano. The incident report was translated by S. Corrales of IHU, with source materials provided by G. Giménez of Planeta UFO. The cases contributed to ongoing documentation of the cattle mutilation phenomenon in Argentina.
