Background

The incident occurred during a 24-hour cycling competition in the Sonoran Desert near Tucson, Arizona. Three riders, including a 34-year-old local entrepreneur named G. Johnson, were roughly halfway through the route when they spotted a humanoid silhouette crossing their path.

The entity stood approximately 6 feet in height, exceptionally slender, moving with an unsteady, mechanical walk compared to a primate or diseased person. Its most disturbing characteristics included serpentine visual organs featuring dark coloring with an amber streak, plus emerald and crimson dermal plates covering the cranium and visage with a granular texture similar to arid terrain. The creature possessed no external nasal structure, merely two openings, and showed no external auditory organs or follicles.

Per witness accounts, the being detected the group when one cyclist vocalized. It subsequently rotated its cranium approximately 280 degrees to establish visual contact. The entity elevated lengthy upper limbs equipped with talon-like digits resembling spiky vegetation, gestured toward the observers while producing a noisy dental clicking, then swiftly escaped into the wilderness in a style likened to a reptile seeking concealment.
