ODNI: Classified UAP report length confirmed at 17 pages
The ODNI officially confirmed via correspondence that the classified annex to the June 2021 UAP report totals seventeen pages, dispelling widespread rumors of significantly longer documents. The response came through a Mandatory Declassification Review request submitted by The Black Vault. This clarification contradicted various unsubstantiated claims ranging from seventy to over four hundred pages.
Background
On July 15, 2021, Sally Nicholson of the ODNI Information Review & Release Group responded to a Mandatory Declassification Review request filed by The Black Vault under 32 CFR ยง 1704. The official correspondence verified that the classified material delivered to Congress alongside the public UAP preliminary assessment consisted of exactly seventeen pages. This disclosure contradicted numerous public estimates based on anonymous sources, which had suggested lengths ranging from seventy to over four hundred pages. The confirmation came approximately three weeks after the public release of the nine-page unclassified version on June 25, 2021.
