Background
On May 23, 2023, Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp published exclusive footage purportedly showing the "Mojave Triangle UAP" recorded on April 20, 2021. The release included infrared and smartphone videos captured by military personnel at Twentynine Palms. Corbell characterized the event as a "mass UFO sighting" with over fifty witnesses and alleged a three-hour military search response. However, The Black Vault quickly identified that a scheduled Weapons and Tactics Instructor course with aircraft and flare deployments was operating at the same time and location. Researcher Mick West subsequently demonstrated strong similarities between the released footage and known military flares, challenging the UAP interpretation.
