Description

Overview
Successor organization of the legendary SOBEPS (Société Belge d'Étude des Phénomènes Spatiaux), which significantly documented the Belgian UFO wave of 1989-1990. Founded by Patrick Ferryn and Léon Brenig (physicist, Université Libre de Bruxelles).

Activities
Continues the SOBEPS archives and tradition. Database with 1,308 reports since 2010. Conducts own field research and cooperates with the Belgian Air Force (Air Component) in evaluating historical and current sightings.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Access to the unique SOBEPS archive of the Belgian wave — one of Europe's best-documented UAP phenomena. Scientific grounding through Brenig. However: relatively small organization with limited international visibility. Website partially outdated.
