Daniel P. Sheehan is an American attorney and public interest lawyer born in the mid-20th century, renowned for high-profile cases including the Pentagon Papers, Watergate, Karen Silkwood, and Iran-Contra scandal. In UAP/UFO research, he served as Special Consultant to the U.S. Library of Congress on extraterrestrial intelligence at President Jimmy Carter's request, provided legal counsel to Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack for his book 'Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens,' and acted as General Counsel to Steven Greer's Disclosure Project, presenting sworn testimony from military and government witnesses to Congress on UFO cover-ups. He founded the New Paradigm Institute in 2023 to compel UAP disclosure and prepare society for extraterrestrial contact, represents Luis Elizondo in his DOD lawsuit, and is a frequent keynote speaker at MUFON and International UFO Congress.
