Von Ludwiger stands as one of the most prominent UAP researchers in German-speaking Europe. He founded and directed MUFON-CES (Mutual UFO Network — Central European Section), the leading scientific UFO research organization in the German-speaking world, which is known for its rigorous analytical approach.

His research emphasizes correlating UFO observations with physical models. Von Ludwiger has authored numerous books on UFO phenomena, including "Best UFO Cases — Europe," and has published works connecting UAP observations with theoretical physics concepts, drawing upon his professional background in astrophysics and systems engineering.
