DCSA
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is a U.S. Department of Defense agency founded in 1972 as the Defense Investigative Service, renamed Defense Security Service in 1999, and reorganized as DCSA in July 2019. It reports to the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and is the largest counterintelligence and security agency in the federal government. Key activities include personnel vetting (95% of federal government), background investigations (2 million annually), critical technology protection, counterintelligence support to the cleared industrial base, security training, and oversight of 10,000 cleared companies. In UAP/UFO context, DCSA agents contacted Luis Elizondo alleging improper declassification of UAP videos from AATIP; DCSA processes FOIA requests on UAP and advanced aerial vehicles, often finding no records. Notable achievements: Model for international counterparts like Australia's Defence Security Division. Current status: Active, issuing reports on foreign threats to technologies including aeronautic systems.
