LAPD

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is the municipal police force serving the City of Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1869 and one of the largest US police forces with approximately 9,000 sworn officers, the LAPD covers approximately 503 square miles and 4 million residents.
