Antonio Gomes

Portuguese Air Force officer who confirmed the November 2, 1982 UFO sighting near Ota air base alongside Carlos Garces and Lt. Guerra. He was in the second Chipmunk aircraft that arrived in the airspace, and both he and Garces witnessed the craft for around ten minutes as it circled the two planes and dashed between them at extraordinary speed. Upon landing at Ota Airbase, he joined the other pilots in immediately making reports of the encounter.
