Arthur C. Lundahl
Arthur C. Lundahl (1915-1992), American photo intelligence expert, served as Director of the CIA's National Photographic Interpretation Center (NPIC) from 1953 to 1973. He analyzed key UFO films, including the 1952 Tremonton, Utah footage (Newhouse film), concluding with Lt. Robert Neasham that objects were extraterrestrial spacecraft; their findings were rejected by the CIA's 1953 Robertson Panel, emotionally impacting both. Lundahl briefed Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy on reconnaissance and reportedly UFOs, maintained a vast UFO library, and assisted the 1967 Condon Committee by debunking Zanesville photos while sharing anomalous cases with Jacques Vallee. Involved in 1952 Washington UFO fragment analysis and 1959 NPIC channeling incident.
