Witness

Bernard A. Clarey (1911-1994) was a U.S. Navy admiral who rose to Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CINCPAC). A Pearl Harbor survivor as executive officer of USS Dolphin, he held key roles including Vice Chief of Naval Operations. No direct involvement in UAP/UFO research or military UFO programs is documented in available sources. Conspiracy theorist Milton William 'Bill' Cooper claimed to have served on Clarey's briefing team in Naval Intelligence post-Vietnam War, allegedly accessing classified UFO documents there, including evidence of government-alien treaties. These assertions, central to Cooper's ufology claims from 1988, lack independent verification and are widely disputed as fabrications or plagiarisms by ufologists.
