Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton (b. 1946) is a former President of the United States (1993-2001) who demonstrated significant interest in UFO/UAP research and government transparency on the subject. Shortly after taking office, Clinton tasked his Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell with investigating what the government knew about UFOs and the Roswell incident. Clinton personally reviewed all Roswell papers and authorized investigations into Area 51. He publicly stated in 1995 that if the Air Force had recovered alien bodies at Roswell, they hadn't informed him. Clinton engaged with UFO researcher Laurence Rockefeller during a 1995 briefing at the Rockefeller Teton Ranch, part of the Rockefeller Initiative for UFO disclosure. In later interviews, Clinton expressed openness to the possibility of extraterrestrial life and stated he would publicly disclose evidence of aliens if discovered. His administration's interest in UFO transparency influenced subsequent disclosure movement advocates.
