Commodore Rubén Lianza
Commodore Rubén Lianza is a retired Argentine Air Force pilot and commissioned officer specializing in UFO research. Over his 30+ year career, he conducted field investigations and witness interviews for every alleged UFO case reported to the Argentine Air Force, developing scientific methods to analyze nearly 100 incidents from 1978 to 2016. All cases were resolved as misinterpretations or hoaxes, including notable ones involving airline and Gendarmerie pilots in 1995, and classic Argentine sightings. Holding a License Degree in Aerospace Systems, he logged over 3000 flying hours in 20 aircraft types, with a focus on Research & Development. Recalled from 7 years of retirement, he served as Head of the Argentine Air Force’s Center for Aerospace Identification (CIAE). Lianza has published analyses, such as on the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico infrared UFO video.
