David Booher is an American UFO researcher residing in southern Wisconsin, with a lifelong fascination for the unexplained. Lacking formal qualifications beyond keen curiosity, he authored the 2017 book No Return: The Gerry Irwin Story – UFO Abduction or Covert Operation?, published by Anomalist Books. The work investigates the 1959 case of U.S. Army soldier Gerry Irwin, who encountered a blazing object in Utah, suffered blackouts, exhibited bizarre behavior, and deserted his Texas post, vanishing without trace. Booher's 2013 investigation uncovers Irwin's fate, exploring abduction or covert operation theories, potentially the first U.S. UFO abduction.
