Detlev Bronk
Detlev Wulf Bronk (August 13, 1897 – November 1975) was an American neurophysiologist and academic administrator of Dutch descent. He served as President of Johns Hopkins University from 1949 to 1953 and was a prominent scientific leader. In June 1947, amid the emerging UFO wave, Bronk was named to a group of experts assembled by Army Air Forces officials for Project Mogul, a classified program to detect Soviet nuclear tests using high-altitude balloons, which were later linked to UFO sightings including Roswell. Some UFO researchers reference unverified claims of Bronk's involvement in ultra-secret crash retrieval efforts, such as attempting to revive occupants, though these lack primary confirmation. No known publications or testimony by Bronk on UAP exist in mainstream records.
