Douglas MacArthur
Douglas MacArthur (1880-1964), American five-star general, commanded Allied forces in the Pacific during World War II. In UFO context, he investigated 'foo fighters'—unidentified aerial phenomena reported by pilots—forming an intelligence team to analyze sightings around Okinawa and Pacific airbases, suspecting advanced technology possibly linked to Japan or extraterrestrials. Post-war, he publicly warned of extraterrestrial threats: in 1955, told columnist Henry Taylor UFOs were real and posed a danger to civilization; at West Point graduation, urged global unity against 'interplanetary war'; in 1958 conference, claimed alien forces scouted Earth for invasion, advocating military preparation. Allegedly created Interplanetary Phenomena Research Unit in 1943. No known publications, but testimonies highlight his concerns until death.
