Raymond E. Fowler (born 1933) is an American ufologist renowned for his dedicated investigations into UFO sightings and abductions. He served as chairman of the NICAP Massachusetts Subcommittee, early warning coordinator for the USAF-contracted University of Colorado UFO Study, and scientific associate for the Center for UFO Studies. Later, he was Director of Investigations for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Praised by Dr. J. Allen Hynek as an outstanding, trustworthy investigator, Fowler's reports appeared in congressional hearings, military publications, and journals worldwide. Key achievements include probing the Andreasson Affair, Allagash Abductions, and other cases using hypnosis. He built and operated Woodside Planetarium (1970-2001), teaching UFO seminars. Notable publications: 'The Andreasson Affair' (1979), 'UFOs: Interplanetary Visitors' (1974), 'The Allagash Abductions' (1993), and others on abductions and encounters.
