Hans-Werner Peiniger

Hans-Werner Peiniger is a German ufologist and retired telecommunications engineer with over 50 years of experience in UAP research. He became interested in UFOs at age 15 and has focused on investigating individual UAP sightings and analyzing photographic evidence. Peiniger is the co-founder and chairman of the Gesellschaft zur Erforschung des UFO-Phänomens (GEP), established in 1972, a key German organization for UAP studies. His contributions include co-authoring the 2023 paper 'UAP Research in Germany: Single Case Studies, Data Management, Understanding of “Strangeness”' in the Journal of Anomalistics, detailing German approaches to UAP investigation. He has published numerous articles in GEP’s Journal für UFO-Forschung (JUFOF). No birth or death dates are publicly documented.
