Italo Balbo
Italo Balbo (1896-1940) was an Italian fascist politician, aviator, and Marshal of the Air Force under Benito Mussolini. Born in Ferrara, he served as a captain in World War I, earning medals for valor, and rose through Fascist ranks, organizing the March on Rome and leading the Blackshirts. As Air Minister (1929-1933), he modernized Italy's air force and led pioneering transatlantic flights, enhancing aviation prestige. Governor-General of Libya during World War II, he died when his plane was shot down by Italian forces. No records link Balbo to UAP/UFO research, military UFO programs, or related fields; his career centered on conventional aviation, fascism, and colonial administration.
