Iya Whiteley

Iya Whiteley, Ph.D., is the founding director of the Centre for Space Medicine at University College London (UCL). She specializes in space psychology and human factors in extreme environments, with expertise in cosmonaut and astronaut selection and training. At the 2023 Sol Foundation Symposium, she presented on 'Trusting and Learning from Pilots,' examining how pilot testimony and psychological research can contribute to understanding UAP encounters.
