J. E. Thomas

J. E. Thomas is likely a reference to Chan Thomas (1920–1998), an American engineer, ufologist, and author known for his work in UFO research. In 1967, he joined a small team at McDonnell Douglas aerospace company, led by Robert M. Wood, to investigate UFO reports and uncover the science behind them. Wood later praised Thomas as having a 'tremendously innovative mind' and being an 'out of the box' thinker. Thomas published The Adam and Eve Story in 1963, proposing pseudoscientific theories of cyclical Earth cataclysms every 5,600 years, alongside claims of extraterrestrial contact and ESP.
