Jenny Randles (born October 30, 1951, in Bacup, England) is a British ufologist, author, and former director of investigations for the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA) from 1982 to 1994. She co-founded the Northern UFO Network in 1973, edited Northern UFO News from 1974, and served as BUFORA research coordinator (1975-1977). With a background in chemistry, mathematics, physics, geography, and geology, she investigated key cases like Rendlesham Forest, co-authoring Sky Crash (1984), later expressing skepticism about extraterrestrial involvement. Randles authored over 20 books, including UFOs: A British Viewpoint (1979), The UFO Conspiracy (1987), UFO Retrievals (1995), and Alien Contacts and Abductions (1994). She advocates caution, attributing most sightings to misidentifications, psychological factors, or natural phenomena rather than aliens, and contributed to media like Fortean Times and BBC documentaries.
