Jose Padilla
Jose Padilla is a Mexican-American UFO witness born around 1936, now residing in Los Angeles County, California. At age 9 in August 1945, he and friend Reme Baca, then 7, discovered a crashed avocado-shaped metallic craft and small humanoid creatures near the Trinity nuclear test site in New Mexico, just weeks after the first atomic bomb detonation. They collected debris fragments, which Padilla still possesses as physical evidence. A military recovery operation followed, with officials claiming it was a weather balloon and urging silence. In 2011, Padilla and Baca co-authored 'Born on the Edge of Ground Zero,' detailing their experience. His testimony has prompted U.S. government investigations into pre-1947 UFO incidents via the 2023 NDAA.
