Lt. Cmdr. Alex Dietrich is a retired U.S. Navy officer and strike fighter pilot who served a 20-year career, including two combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, earning a Bronze Star and Air Combat Medal. She graduated from ROTC in college, commissioned as a Naval aviator in 2001, trained on the F/A-18F Super Hornet, and joined Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41 'Black Aces.' In November 2004, during a training mission off Southern California with the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, Dietrich witnessed a Tic Tac-shaped UAP that mirrored her aircraft's movements before abruptly ascending and disappearing. She provided key corroboration to Cmdr. David Fravor's account, observed for about 10 seconds. Dietrich has given public testimony, including in a 2025 American Veterans Center interview and 60 Minutes, emphasizing the object's anomalous behavior without endorsing extraterrestrial origins. No known publications beyond interviews.
