Luis Walter Alvarez

Luis Walter Alvarez (1911-1988), American experimental physicist and Nobel laureate, had no documented involvement in UAP/UFO research, military/government UFO programs, or related fields. Born in San Francisco, he earned his PhD from the University of Chicago in 1936 and joined UC Berkeley. Key achievements include WWII radar advancements at MIT Radiation Lab, Manhattan Project contributions to atomic bomb implosion at Los Alamos, and post-war development of the liquid hydrogen bubble chamber, earning the 1968 Nobel Prize in Physics for resonance state discoveries. Later, with his son, he proposed the asteroid impact theory for dinosaur extinction. No publications or testimony on UFOs found.
