Matt Gaetz

Matt Gaetz, born in 1982, is a Republican politician who represents Florida in the United States House of Representatives and has become prominent in advocacy for UAP and UFO research. In July 2023, Gaetz presented testimony before the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security regarding a classified UAP incident he investigated at Eglin Air Force Base. This incident involved Air Force pilots who encountered four craft flying in diamond formation off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. During his investigation, Gaetz reviewed radar data and photographs depicting an orb-shaped object, which he stated could not be attributed to any known human capability. Gaetz has called for congressional subpoenas of radar imagery and evidence related to this incident. He has collaborated with Republican Representatives Tim Burchett and Anna Paulina Luna in investigating UAP matters. His advocacy focuses on government transparency regarding UAP encounters and military encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena.
