Michel Desavoye
Michel Desmarquet, often misspelled as Desavoye, is a French-born Australian author (born circa 1935) known for his claimed extraterrestrial abduction experiences. In 1987, he alleged being taken aboard a UFO craft called 'Amariah' by beings from a planet orbiting Betelgeuse. There, he purportedly spent nine days learning advanced cosmic knowledge, including spiritual teachings, reincarnation, and humanity's future. His primary role is as a contactee and whistleblower in UFOlogy. Key achievement: Publishing 'Thiaoouba Prophecy' (1993), detailing his abduction, alien history of Earth (e.g., Atlantis, Mu), and warnings about environmental collapse. The book gained a cult following in UFO circles, translated into multiple languages, with claims of endorsement by figures like Jacques Vallée. No military/government program ties; focused on metaphysical UFO narratives. Desmarquet lectured internationally until his death in 2018.
