Mona Nemer is a Canadian cardiovascular scientist serving as Canada's Chief Science Advisor since 2017. In the UAP field, she independently launched the Sky Canada Project in fall 2022 to assess public UAP sighting management processes and recommend improvements for standardization, transparency, and citizen science. The project, under her Office, released a preview report in January 2025 and the full report on July 14, 2025, advocating a new federal body to collect, investigate, and publicly analyze UAP reports across agencies like the Canadian Space Agency. While most sightings are explainable, some remain anomalous. Nemer testified on the project in a House of Commons committee on February 27, 2024, and told CTV News the recommendations offer a realistic framework for efficient UAP handling. No evidence of secret military or private reverse-engineering programs was found.
