Natalio Farfan Ruiz

Natalio Farfán Ruiz was a Bolivian military officer who served as Corporal and commandant of a small border police unit at La Mamora, a village of approximately 800 inhabitants near the Argentina-Bolivia border. He is primarily known in UFO research for his eyewitness testimony regarding the alleged UFO crash near Tarija, Bolivia, on May 6, 1978. Farfán Ruiz reported observing a cylindrical object that caused significant seismic disturbance, describing the impact as so powerful that it made the earth tremble. He provided detailed accounts to Argentinian reporters, stating he believed "the end of the world was coming" during the incident. His testimony, along with that of multiple other witnesses including border police, engineers, and mining officials, constitutes key documentation in the Tarija case, one of the most widely witnessed alleged UFO crash incidents in South American UFO history.
