Olden Moore
Olden Moore (born circa 1929) was an American plasterer from Montview, Ohio, notable for his UFO encounter on November 6, 1957, during the Levelland UFO wave. At 28, driving west of town at 11:30 p.m., he spotted a massive covered-dish-shaped object, 50 feet in diameter and high, topped by a steeple-like cone, enveloped in pulsating bluish-green haze. It landed in a field, causing his car's headlights to dim. Moore approached within 100 feet, observing intense heat and a central glow. Next morning, investigators found a 50-foot burned circle with elevated radiation, confirmed by geiger counter readings indicating a foreign object landing. APRO researchers deemed him honest and church-involved, unlikely to fabricate. No publications or further UAP involvement noted.
