Robert L. Hall (February 25, 1924 – September 19, 2013) was an American sociologist and social psychologist who contributed to UFO research and analysis. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Hall earned his B.A. from Yale University (1947) and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota (1953). He served as a social psychologist in the Air Force Personnel & Training Research Center (1952-1957), conducting research on bomber crew performance and team evaluation. Hall was the brother of prominent ufologist Richard H. Hall and served as a program director for UFO research initiatives. He was involved with The UFO Investigator publication and contributed to the broader field of UFO sociology and analysis during the mid-20th century.
