S/Sgt. Doty T. Larimore

S/Sgt. Doty T. Larimore was a U.S. Air Force staff sergeant involved in a notable UFO sighting in 1951. Piloting B-36 aircraft No. 2061 from Goose Air Base at 192220Z en route to Resolute, NWT, he and his crew detected a signal on 240 mcs frequency at 192315Z. Upon landing, intelligence officers met them, indicating multiple sightings in the area. Later, in the U.S., they filed a full report, learning Gander radar tracked the object at over 1,800 mph.
