Thornton Leigh Page (1913–1996) was an American astronomer and professor who served at the University of Chicago (1946–1950) and Wesleyan University (1958–1971). During World War II, he served in the Pacific Theater with operations research groups. Page became prominent in UFO research as deputy director of the Johns Hopkins Operations Research Office and a member of the Robertson Panel, a CIA-sponsored committee of scientists convened in January 1953 to evaluate UFO evidence. He was an expert on radar and electronics. Page authored or collaborated on multiple works related to UFOs and astronomy, including a UFO book in 1972. He was skeptical of extraterrestrial explanations for UFO sightings. Later in his career, he worked for the United States Naval Research Laboratory (1976 retirement).
