Born January 18, 1923, in Round Prairie, Minnesota, he enlisted post-high school, served as airplane mechanic, rose to Lt. Col., and worked on Arctic polar surveys with B-29s equipped to detect UFO-related anomalies, retiring in 1963. Post-retirement, he amassed the world's largest private UFO photo collection, founded UFO Photo Archives, and self-published over 22 books, including the renowned 'Message from the Pleiades' series on Billy Meier's Plejaren contacts, based on his Switzerland investigations. He contributed articles to UFO journals and featured in documentaries like 'UFO Chronicles.' Incarcerated 1983-1988, he resumed ufology until his death September 7, 2010, in Tucson, Arizona.
