Alyosha Nikonov

Alyosha Nikonov is a Russian individual known primarily as a child witness in the 1989 Voronezh UFO incident. On September 27, 1989, in a public park in Voronezh, USSR, Nikonov and other schoolchildren, including Vasya Surin, Julia Sholokhova, Lena Sarokina, and Vova Startsev, reported seeing a large spherical UFO land, from which tall humanoid aliens with three eyes and a robot emerged. The event drew global attention after TASS reported it, prompting investigations by Soviet scientists like Genrikh Silanov, who found ground depressions but no chemical anomalies. Adults nearby also sighted the craft. Skeptics highlight inconsistencies in child testimonies and lack of hard evidence, questioning reliability amid the glasnost era.
