Bob White

Bob White, an American musician known professionally as Frank James, claims to have recovered a metallic teardrop-shaped artifact from a UFO encounter in 1985 near Grand Junction, Colorado, while driving with a female companion named Jan toward Las Vegas. He publicly revealed the story only after retiring in 1996, having kept it secret to protect his career. White underwent polygraph tests in 1998, which he passed, and swore an affidavit detailing the event. The artifact, about 7.5 inches long, over 80% aluminum with rare trace elements and steel-like strength, has been analyzed by experts including physicist Dr. Gilbert Jordan. In 2000, he co-founded the nonprofit Museum of the Unexplained in Reeds Spring, Missouri, with partners Robert Gibbons and Larry Cekander, featuring the object as its centerpiece. White invested over $60,000 promoting it at conferences despite ridicule. No military or government program ties are confirmed, though he alleged a threatening military call at a roadhouse.
