Bryan Bender
Bryan Bender, a U.S. national security journalist from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, is renowned for breaking key stories on government UAP research. As senior national correspondent for POLITICO, he published a parallel disclosure on the Pentagon's AATIP program on December 16, 2017, alongside the New York Times, nearly breaking it first after being seeded by sources. Previously Pentagon correspondent for the Boston Globe and Washington Bureau Chief for Jane’s Defense Weekly, he covered wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bender chronicled U.S. efforts to investigate unidentified aerial phenomena, earning the UFO Researcher of the Year Award in 2018 from the International UFO Congress and the European Press Prize in 2023. He advises Americans for Safe Aerospace, taught at Arizona State University, and authored 'You Are Not Forgotten.' He holds B.A.s in English Writing and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
