Grenadian politician (1922-1997), Prime Minister of Grenada 1967-1979. Became the most prominent world leader to advocate for UFO investigation at the United Nations. In 1977-1978, repeatedly brought the UFO issue before the UN General Assembly, proposing the establishment of a UN agency to study UFOs. His efforts led to UN Decision 33/426 in 1978 recommending member states investigate UFOs. Overthrown in the 1979 coup by Maurice Bishop.
