Colonel Evelyn E. Laptook is a U.S. Army Reserve officer who was nominated for promotion to brigadier general, as confirmed by the Senate in December 2023.[1][2] On July 1, 2021, she was identified as the new director of the National Program Senior Management Staff (NPSMS), replacing Luis Elizondo.
