Francisco Mourão Corrêa
Francisco Mourão Corrêa was a Portuguese researcher who investigated UAP phenomena in Portugal. He developed an early interest in intelligent extraterrestrial life and studied both Portuguese and international UFO cases, building lasting relationships with pioneer researchers in Portugal. His work focused on unexplained aerial sightings in Portugal, and he investigated UAP phenomena extensively, examining cases beyond the famous Fatima events and exploring historical UFO encounters, especially during the Cold War era.
He contributed significantly to the scholarly examination of these phenomena, helping establish a documented record of cases. In 2009, he founded the Portuguese Exopolitics Initiative, registered as a non-profit, and lectured at UFO conferences across Europe. He appeared in documentaries for National Geographic and the History Channel. His efforts highlighted a broader pattern of anomalous aerial observations in Portuguese territory. He co-founded the Global Exopolitics Organization, served on the Advisory Board of the Exopolitics Institute, and was co-founder and Europe's Director of ICER.
