Mike Rogers (born July 16, 1958) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Alabama's 3rd congressional district since 2003. A Republican, he chairs the House Armed Services Committee. In UAP/UFO research and government programs, Rogers played a pivotal role in weakening the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act of 2023, which aimed to seize and disclose recovered non-human technologies from defense contractors. Alongside Rep. Mike Turner, he gutted the bipartisan bill amid substantial campaign funding from Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman, drawing accusations from whistleblower David Grusch and journalist Tucker Carlson of blocking transparency for industry interests. This ensured UAP records remained classified under national security pretexts, stalling major disclosure efforts.
