Philip Schneider (1947-1996) was an American geologist and engineer who claimed involvement in building Deep Underground Military Bases (DUMBs) for the U.S. government. In the UAP/UFO field, he gained notoriety for his 1995 lectures alleging participation in a 1979 firefight at an underground alien base in Dulce, New Mexico, where he said he encountered gray extraterrestrials, lost fingers to alien weapons, and saw 66 humans killed. He accused the government of covering up UFOs, alien collaborations, and New World Order plots with secret societies. No verifiable evidence supports his claims, which remain controversial conspiracy theories. Schneider died in 1996, officially by suicide, though many believe it was assassination for his whistleblowing.
