Phyllis Budinger
Phyllis Budinger is an American research scientist specializing in the physical evidence analysis of UFO and paranormal phenomena. A lifelong UFO enthusiast, she founded Frontier Analysis, Ltd. in March 2000, a laboratory dedicated to studying traces from UFO events worldwide, including abductions, cattle mutilations, crop circles, UFO deposits, angel hair, the Delphos Kansas landing soil, and Betty Hill's abduction dress. Her technical reports, archived on The Black Vault, provide scientific breakdowns of these cases. Budinger's work gained media attention through appearances on History Channel's UFO Files and UFO Hunters, national radio, and TV documentaries. In 2013, she was named Ufologist of the Year by MUFON and is associated with CUFOS. She contributed to the 2025 arXiv paper on UAP scientific history.
