William Puckett
William 'Bill' Puckett is an American UFO researcher and retired meteorologist. He graduated valedictorian of his high school class in 1965, earned a B.A. in Biology from Carroll College in 1969, and an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University in 1973. Puckett worked as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service (3 years) and the Environmental Protection Agency (27 years), retiring in 2007. Formerly Montana State Director for MUFON, he is a certified field investigator who authored technical articles for the MUFON Journal and spoke at the 2008 International MUFON Symposium on the Stephenville, TX sightings. Key achievements include radar and meteorological analysis of the 2006 O'Hare Airport UFO incident and consultant/research associate for NARCAP. He consulted for History Channel's 'UFO Hunters,' appeared on episodes there, Science Channel's 'Close Encounters,' and A&E's 'Paranormal State.' Puckett runs independent investigations via UFOS Northwest and UFO Sightings Montana, residing in Helena, MT since 2011.
